Paper Submission Details

The proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in the "Lecture Notes in Computer Science" (LNCS) series. Authors of accepted papers must follow the "Information for Authors" guidelines for the preparation of the manuscript and use the templates provided there.

Full papers should not exceed 14 pages (or approx. 8000 words, single-spaced, Springer LNCS style), short papers should not exceed 7 pages (or approx. 4000 words). The document must be in either PostScript or Acrobat PDF format, and must be legible after printing on standard grayscale printers, both those that use A4 and those that use 8-1/2x11" paper. The program chair reserves the right to reject any paper that does not meet the length and format restrictions, or which he cannot print.

In case of acceptance, the final camera-ready version of the full paper is due June 7, 2002. It MUST follow the Springer LNCS guidelines in order to be published. Since the LNCS series is also published in full-text electronic version (LNCS Online), the source files (in addition to the final PS or PDF file) of all accepted papers must then also be submitted. Please note that short papers will not be published in the proceedings, but will be distributed as handouts during the conference (and presented at a special track).

Please note that at least one author of an accepted paper MUST register for the conference, no later than June 7, 2002. The early registration fee is about 475 Euro (this includes free attendance to all conference sessions, lunch and coffee breaks, dinner reception, and a copy of the proceedings). Detailed rates can be found on the Registration Page.
